I always travel with my iPod and UE Roll speaker. I use meditation sleep music every night to help me sleep. I use it to play at night to keep them from hearing anything. You can use thwirvradio or TV too. Or play something on your laptop. I use this trick at home when leaving. Do you have pets with separation anxiety? Ignore them for ten minutes when you come home. Don't make a big deal leaving. Cage training is great. Put a pillow and blanket/throw on the pillow. Put blanket over the cage to make into a cave. When you put them into their cage give them a treat. I adopted Patsy from my friend. She told me that she was very scared of going into a crate. Patsy now loves it. Praise them when starting them out. I also have a little dog from a hoarding situation. I use belly bands with incontinence pads in them. Always bring something to clean up messes. Charlie marks. Sometimes I forget to get his band on (put it on in the parking lot or pick them up to get them inside the room). I use Simple Solutions Extreme stain and odor remover. Water with white vinegar is also fine. I remove the bedspread/coverlet for them and me. They are not washed everytime. You can request they be removed before checking in. My cat is the best. I put her in a medium sized cage with bed, litter box, food, and water. Don't let out until you are finished moving stuff in. I usually don't go out after getting her out. Sophie is the very best of my pets. She loves the music too. Cats are very easy to leave for a week. Just put out lots of food, water, and litter boxes. I put out two extras or more. If longer hire a pet sitter to come by once a week to put out the same amount and scoop the litter box. Cats want it that way.
I love this video, I dont even have a dog yet 😁 I'm dreaming of having Cavalier since I was 7 years old (I'm 25 now), however I'm afraid that I wouldn't have a time for a dog at the moment 😑
everything you said is so true, I do the same with my dog, they really care about where they are and knowing what is around the new area. My boy dog really wants to mark the new area well :)
Adorable dogs! Great tips! We had to bring our Winston dog with us and we kept him In the the room with the do not disturb sign so the maids wouldn't bother him because the first time we brought him we put him in the crate and the maids terrified him so it worked better for him. We also put the chair next to the bed so he could reach it by himself and a chair next to the window- he loved looking out the window!
I have four dogs (Henry, Marigold, Rose, and Buddy) They each have many unique ways of adapting to the hotel room Buddy: takes a nap and loves it Rose: needs food and love. Henry: Needs all the snuggles and a tv playing in the background Marigold: Doesn’t adapt But I definitely wish more people would take their dogs outside to pee before entering the room. I’ve visited 15 hotels in my lifetime, 14 of them had pee stains on the floor. Henry, being the interesting Westie he is, always needs to pee on top of the other pee stains 😭 Also, try not to let your puppies roughhouse/play fight. Henry (Westie highland terrier), and Marigold (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) like to play fight with other and they always make the loudest barking sounds, which usually interrupts the other peoples hotel experience. Rose (cavalier King Charles Spaniel) once started barking at 3am. Then someone’s German shephard barked back and then they had a loud conversation. Someone complained to the manager and we got kicked out. At 3AM. We didn’t get a refund either. They just woke us up and demanded we leave, and we had to sleep in the car. Probably one of the worst hotel experiences ever. And I also hear so many people not playing or exercising their dogs at all. They just put their dogs in hotels and then go to their business meetings. I’ve heard so many dogs whine and bark in fear because their owner did not play, care, or help them adjust to the hotel. Heck, once I was walking Marigold back to our hotel room. I saw one guy just put a dog in a hotel room and then walk off. He didn’t even go in with the dog, he just plopped him in there and left.
Hi I am going to Texas and Arizona for 2 weeks with my dog and we found a pet-friendly hotel do you think I can bring my dog or no because I really want to bring him in please answer because I’m leaving in Friday morning and right now is Monday and thank you for the tips!😊
Another great video as always ☺️🐶. I love your T-shirt 🐶🐶. I’ve always had a fear of someone kidnapping my dogs if I leave them in the room, even when it’s necessary I have anxiety the whole time I’m gone. Am I the only person with this paranoia?
I have to find a good doggy Friendly hotel in la Bc I am not going to leave my dog who I consider my child at a day care without me, I’ve had her since I was three and she’s never been a mile away
Do you worry about people taking your dogs when you leave them in the room? I want to travel with my dog, and I would take him with me as much as I could, but I know for dinner occasionally I’d have to leave him. That’s the one part that’s always scared me about traveling.
Thanks for the great video guys ! Do the girls bark when you leave them alone ? And if so what do you do ? Edwin tends to bark for a solid two minutes when we leave and we have been doing AirBnbs because of that... I am too afraid of neighbors complain !
we always request a 1st floor and end of the hall so not to disturb others!! my lil guy is playful and likes to run so Booking a 1st floor Suite works out great
Here’s a tip, leave your dog or cat or “fur babies” or whatever you call them at home. There are family, friends or these things they used to call kennels so your pet could be cared for while you enjoy your vacation. I’m sick of seeing pets in grocery stores, restaurants, airports and especially smelling them in hotel rooms I pay money for to have a good nights rest. If you need a “support animal”, you got problems already too big for a pet to fix. It’s just constantly forcing your pet on to other people is sick to begin with. Most likely I’ll already hate you and your pet smugness. Get over yourselves. Your little yorkie would eat you if you stopped feeding it.
1:34 I died of cuteness overload!!!
Same 😭
They’re so CUTEEE

This is great information. I am traveling to South America, with my baby-dog next month. You provide very useful guidance in this video.
Thanks for the tips! I’m going to need these while taking my dog on vacation

My dog weighs more than 75 pounds, so it looks like I'm stuck with Motel 6.
Luann Kelly Just say it’s a service dog lol
Im shook, help That’s illegal and very very unethical.
@@veronicashook3592 definitely DO NOT do that. It puts actual service dogs and their handlers at risk.
Can your dog lose weight?
@@AbsoluteDigitalPicturesare you stupid
Thanks for the tips! Please do a meet up in San Francisco next time! My Cavalier Annie would love to meet Herky and Milton. 😊

Hey they r so adorable omg, where did u get their leashes from?
My dog loves going to hotels if I am there but she barks if she hears noise outside but she is just over protective

They used to bark when we first get to hotel rooms. That's why we leave them in the bathroom since it's more confined :)
I didn't even read the video I just saw the puppies in a blanket and watched the video haha
it's a really comforting thought that if I go to a dog friendly hotel I might get to sleep under a piss stained duvet.
You are amazing💕💕
WE WOOF YOU!
I'm travelling in late July, videos will be posted :)
I have a service dog in training and we are going to a hotel soon and these tips are great!
My dog loves beds

How disgusting sleeping on the same bed as animals for people who have allergies
They wash the sheets-
Shut up
